The Dark Urge, known only by her nickname ‘Robs’. Fallen aasimar, blood cleric. Not a people person, but slowly & ‘surely’ rehabilitating… sometimes. Depends. Act/timeline flexible. Tailored for Baldur's Gate 3 and Dungeons & Dragons, but is flexible for other general fantasy settings.

Physical
Robs stands at 5’8 and a half (the half is very important). She has a lithe build, making little noise when she walks. As a fallen aasimar, she has bone-white skin, smooth but scarred in various places, the most prominent being a deep slash over her right eye. She can’t recall the incident where she obtained it, but she does know it made her fully blind in that eye. Later, this eye would be accidentally removed by Volo and replaced with a prosthetic, allowing her to see invisible creatures. Her remaining eye is a dull red. She has poor vision, but the prosthetic eye helps to compensate.
Her face is most often completely flat and emotionless, rarely does she manage to emote aside from a scowl. Not on purpose, mind, it’s just that she’s sort of… forgotten how. Robs has teal-colored hair. It is exceedingly long, down to her waist, and when she expects to partake in combat she ties it back in a ponytail. Hanging around camp or walking through cities, however, she lets it down. Drawing on the pool of unholy magic that resides within her allows her to sprout ghostly wings from her back for a short period of time.
Personality
Robs can be a tough nut to crack. On the surface, she comes off as both rude and standoffish, but it’s mostly because she’s never known how to be anything else. With no memories and a parasite in her head, she feels it’s hardly her fault for being a little snippy. Poor attitude combined with her eternally emotionless expression can often lead to rough first meetings. However, much of her unfriendliness stems from her overcompensating for her own awkwardness when it comes to conversation. Her personal “mantra” is take no shit, do moderate-to-severe amounts of harm. Combined with her chronic Resting Bitch Face and complete lack of any other facial expression, she is difficult to approach on her best days. Past that tough exterior, she’s easy to get along with - though harder to actually befriend. She knows how to be personable well enough, but she’s not exactly friendly. (Not at first, at least.)
She’s easy to piss off, and if you leave a bad first impression, it’s not easy to sway her otherwise. She likely will not be willing to give you the time of day if she’s to cross paths with you again. Robs is very set in her ways, and once she decides something, it’s difficult to change her mind. Her mood changes at the drop of a hat, often violently. She’ll be fine one minute, and then with a single word, her mood will plummet through the floor - though she takes great pains to not let it show. How she’s feeling at any given moment is a mystery, really, especially to herself.
To the shock of both herself and those who know her, she’s typically more than willing to lend a hand if need be - she just has to be asked first, and usually won’t go out of her way. She’s an extremely cagey person, but extremely honest at the same time. She’ll answer nearly any question asked to her about her past or her actions, but she’ll decline to answer questions about her mental state, or how certain things make her feel. In her mind, it’s no one’s business but her own.
In truth, beneath all of her brick walls, Robs is an intensely emotional person. She feels things deeply, even though she doesn’t express it. She is fiercely devoted to her cause and her friends, and would stop at nothing to protect what she holds most dear. Despite everything, she yearns for connections. She is plenty confident in her martial prowess, though less so everywhere else. Compliments and random gestures of kindness almost never feel genuine - more like she’s being made fun of, or like it’s some sort of trap. Her self-loathing is just that strong.
Despite the confidence in her martial prowess, she prefers to take on more of a following role than a leading one. Because when she has to take on a leading role, she accidentally ends up a bit… bossy. (Because she feels she knows what is best.) Robs is very good at following directions, but she's very forgetful and often has to ask multiple times to be shown how to do something, so she typically opts for writing things down rather than embarrass herself in asking someone in charge to repeat themself.
Abilities
By default, Robs retains the standard abilities that come from being a level 12 blood cleric, though I can portray her at earlier levels as well.
Robs can speak Common, Celestial, scraps of Thieves Cant she’s picked up from her travels and companions, and the littlest bits and pieces of Infernal.
This counts as a skill: she can eat lemons whole without flinching.
Statblock: 8 STR | 19 DEX | 14 CON | 10 INT | 18 WIS | 8 CHA
She has the War Caster (at lv4) and Polearm Master (at lv8) feats and +2 DEX ASI (at lv12). And a bonus +2 to WIS from the Mirror of Loss.
When it comes to weapons, she dual-wields hand crossbows for ranged attacks, and wields a staff for melee.
History
Born and created under the darkest of stars, Robs holds an unspeakable past. Quite literally -- as she can barely remember the majority of it. She gets flashes and visions of incredible violence, bodies and blood lining her wake, and a nigh-irresistible urge to keep the massacre going. Depending on her company, these urges are either encouraged or pushed down. I can portray Robs as fully far gone or on the path to redemption. (Typically I default to the redemption path, but I’m more than willing to get her hands bloody.)
